Lake Roesiger Fire is staffed by volunteers who live in the fire district. Your neighbors are your firefighters and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Our volunteer members receive extensive initial and in-service training both within the district and at outside training events/classes. Our EMTs are certified by the State and most attended EMT training at local colleges.
Like the population of our district, our members range in age, interests, and experience. From young people working towards an eventual full-time firefighting career, to mid-career professionals, to retirees, our members share only one thing: a commitment to the safety of our community.
We are always looking for additional members who are willing to serve our fine community. If you have an interest in helping, but do not feel up to the more physical tasks of firefighting, we could still use your help! We are happy to answer your questions and look forward to meeting you. Feel free to stop by the fire station on a Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. and introduce yourself.
